The Wedding Present have recorded a version of ‘High’ for ‘Just Like Heaven’, a compilation of bands covering songs by The Cure. The 16 track CD, which will be released by American Laundromat Records on 27 January 2009, also features Tanya Donelly, Black Francis from The Pixies and Dean & Britta from Galaxie 500. American Laundromat is now accepting pre-orders exclusively from their web site www.alr-music.com at a special price with a November shipping date for pre-ordering customers only. The pre-order CD will also feature a bonus hidden track and the chance to win an autographed copy by a band of the winner’s choice.
